I BULLIED

       Hi we have an assignment.
We have to write about a time we bullied a person and didn't stop!!!!!!!!!!!!

Non-Verbal Bullying

    

It was last year in 5th grade there was a boy called Tubby and he was "special". So no one was his friend and he thought he was cool (but he was not)and every time we got into groups we would leave him out. And say "what a loner" and I thought it was cool because everyone was with me. And I would never pick him on my team in football,and in basketball and lots of other sports, I always found it fun to exclude him out of groups. Because one time when I was with my brother in camp he excluded me and I could never be with him because he said such things as "get the heck out of here" and other bad words I shouldn't mention.And because of this I thought he was trying to be cool.So i started excluding people and I thought it was cool.

Cyber Bullying

Another thing I did to Tubby I would send him mean emails , and I have been doing that for about 5 months and found it funny because he would just reply back "okay". I would say such things as "You have no friends" or "Just leave the country". I would do this because my friends dared me to and if i didn't they said they won't be my friends any more,and if they weren't my friends I would have to be with Tubby,and I wouldn't want that to happen.

Verbal Bullying

This is when I saw bullying. I was walking to my after school  football. When I was in the changing room I heard voices coming out of a room that was near by then I saw tubby in a corner with 2 of my friends saying mean things to him like " I hate you" and get out of here" then I realized that was me but in a different way I felt so guilty after this. I just saw how mean I was. so I started not hanging out with those guys and went to a different group of people then I apologized to tubby (but we still weren't friends) i just didn't say anything to him and I went on with my life.

Physical Bullying

This is also when I saw bullying. It was in the same place (beside the changing room) they were the same people. This time they had his bag and they were throwing it around and pushing him around. They were throwing stuff at him and I didn't like it one bit and this is the awkward part I stood up for him and got his bag pack back. And I gave it to him and we ran away then they came after us. So then we went into the bathroom and the bullies found out where we were and I set up a trick i said at the exact time they got in we throw the ball (that Tubby had in his bag) at the bully,  and after that happened then we ran away.

What Happened

So we went to the teacher (both of us) and we told on those two bully's and instead of them getting in trouble me and him spent  the day after in detention because we fought back.It was the worst thing ever for me to do to defend someone because you get blamed for it.

What Would I do Different

I would have became friends with tubby if i really knew him. I would still have fought against those bullies.I would have told the teacher earlier that they were bullying him. I would have not excluded him from the group, And now I will be a better person.I would think about what to do before I actually did it,to see if it would hurt him.

Two Goals?

• We all have to work together and not exclude anyone for everything.
• No more Physical,Verbal,Non-Verbal,Cyber,Social Bullying and we will all accomplish our goal.
